Can the Indian government ensure education for all? Though this has been the cherished goal there’s many a slip between the cup and the lip.

And despite a detailed Education Bill, the goal looks both elusive and impractical in the present scenario…

So, education for all in India - myth or reality??

Education comes only after meal .Until the hunger of a person is quenched , he cannot conceive the idea of getting education . When a major portion of Indian population is living below poverty line , talking about education for all will always remain a myth .

In my opinion its just a myth & it will remain in the documents only. Education for all till date has been a dream for many. After 63yrs of independence students & people in India are unable to get primary education. The govt. only plans & it will keep planning for the next few centuries.

Education for all will remain a myth.....in this selfish world only those who have money have access to education.

Its can convert into reality if we all start contributing our share for the welfare of the society rather than discussing in this forum if we just give a close on the increasing number of higher education degree holders & if we again creeping about the quality so we will have to focus for it bcoz in a simple way we will not be able to achieve it

After enactment of Right of children to Free and Compulsory Education Act,  free and compulsory education to all children of the age of six to fourteen years becomes statutory right. This is one of the finest legislation after Right to Information Act. The initiative by the Government to ensure that every child gets education.

Yes , I feel that education for all in India is a reality because every ruling government provide necessary scholarships for needy student and if we glance at primary level . we will find that government is providing every possible facilities to schools but it is we the people of India and our so called intellectual classes and our respected teachers , respected concern authorities who take mid day school meal programme as the meal for their home. There our so many countries in the world who prefer Indians for their jobs. Not only Bush but also Barak Obama admitted todays Educated Indians as Power House for whole world.

We can make it reality with combined efforts from governmental, non goverrnmental, NGO, Corporate bodies, public and private sector under takings especially from the public bringing awarness on the subject. It should not be left alone to the Government. It will be reality only when it starts from grass root level ie. primary level. The above mentioned Institutions/organisations should adopt  pick & choose method from primary level and adopt the students to further their education in the fields of interest/requirement by imparting training/motivation, skills, knowing their IQ levels. The adopted students should be given career/job oriented valued based education with pratical exposure from grass root level. We all have to share the burden of expenses on education, food clothing and infracture. There is no dearth of money or human resources in our country. We can produce first-the good and briliant teachers, then only we can produce  good and brilliant students. This process should continue for ever. I appeal to the public especially the rich class-to spend the money for uplifting the children of our country instead of donating billians and billians of rupees/dollars to temples in the form of gold, silver etc. Although few charitable Institutions are doing the needful to our children like Shri Satya Sai charitable Trust etc contributing to producing good and brilliant children from the grass root level. Then it will become reality. Service to humanity is service to God. So let us keep aside little from your earnings and contribute for the noble cause to make education fior all a reality. If we share the financial burden of the poor and down troden parents they will change their view point to educate their children instead of using them for household works. Awarness with extended financial help is the only solution.

As Mr. Birendra Sing said, Govt must take effort. The effort mainly includes primary and secondary education tax.

I am agree that g education to all is a very tuff but it can be possible by the efforts of Govt. as well as us. Many person of us dont know at least two educational program operated by  the Govt. for raising the educational status of the country. If we don’t know about them than how it can be possible that the plans will implement.

So first of all we have to know about the plan in our village/town level the seeing that they are implemented properly or not and if not then why. The govt. gives us RTI act by which we can questioned the officers why these did plans is not implemented properly.

Then it is possible that the plans Education for all in India become reality.

I agree that Education for all is not easy thing. But surely I can say that education for all can expect in few years.

As a part of Government its passing bill and doing much more things on this, like providing Mid-day meals, giving free books, cloths, etc.

As a Individual how many of us were aware of this and sharing this with uneducated people and grooming them to learn..?

If every individual atleast educate two or three uneducated people then why can't it possible.. that education for all.
