Yes, it will hit the modelling industry.

With recession and economic slowdown many models will be struggling for work as shops and retailers will cut down advertising budgets.

Yes it can and actually it is effecting them. The models which used to be brand ambassador for various products ae being replaced because of the cost-cutting that is happening in industries. Take an example of Deepika padukone who is considered as the best face of the year is now being replaced by Diana. And Simply because Diana's brand value has not reached to as that of her's.

Mr.Chandan Roy do you think replacing Deepika with Diana will benefit the organization ?

I don't think so, u told deepika is considered as best face of the year right, will a company replace such a brand ambassador and incur profits ?? No way...if the person with best face is not able to attract customers, then others will not...

But I still believe that company shouldn't replace their brand ambassador just to cut cost...

I do not think that this was the reason it was simply because a new face was needed for the campaign so the replacement has taken place.
