ego a big issue in private sector

Ego plays its role when we start underestimating our co-workers or team members based on their experience, position in the team and skill set. Ego does not believe in team work. Ego says, I control my team and I won’t let anyone else to come forward. Ego also has insecurity that others may come up with better idea than us. Our professional life can be a big chaos in case our ego starts playing against ego who posses more power. So in my opinion, ego is a big issue in any companies.

Ego of an employee is really a big issue nowadays in private sector mainly. The thing is that the senior expects more respect to be offered to him by his junior, and sometimes forgets the complication and he crosses the line. The issue is that you as a senior never know exactly that when are you crossing the limits and how the person(junior) takes it. Sometimes a simple order to a junior becomes offending to him and his/her ego strikes and then the matter becomes serious. The only thing is that a junior sh'ld be more frank and clear about certain things and also ask to his/her senior when something bothers, because denial in itself is hazardous.....
