I was just going through few websites and found that soon we will have computers with emotions!! I was not surprised but this left me thinking.. So now your computer will feel sorry if it does something wrong !! Are we wasting our valuable time in doing such inventions ?

Now a days people do not give any importance to human emotions and we are making emotional computers. This is just the wasege of our energy in wrong direction or a emotional item which do not need to be attended.

Sheer waste of time, money and effort in creating such emotionally draining stuffs. Why? Because the emotions of the computer will be based on the emotions of the developers who creates them. So the emotions shown by a computer may be wrongly configured that may actually end up hurting the emotions of the user. Phew! Am getting really emotional here. Let such computers never exist. It will make us emotionally mad and emotionally blah blah blah...Hell, that a bit too much.

Debating on these emotional topics is emotionally draining.

Watch the Rajnikanth movie  Robot (Enthiran in Tamil) which is about a similar subject. Ignore the exaggeration and you will see the exact situation there.

We always see the one face of the coin. Can Never Accept that other can be. It is not about Emotion in machine. It is about mapping of human. I think if the human mapping will be done in machine this is the most valuable in the medical field. There are numerous danger diseases you can not imagine. you will know if you will study medical physiology and mental cases. There are lakhs of disease where till now cause is unknown. We can make the life better by doing this.

Why wastage? The science of Artificial Intelligence is about machine's ability to think like humans. The robots made on this technology is demonstrated by advanced countries number of times, especially Japan.

Btw, people on this planet are not enough to plan/think/ houses on other planets, to fight possible attacks from aliens, to fight with the unimaginable natural calamities that humans may face in near future etc. No limits to imaginations !

I want one answer.. why do you study? Obviously for your development, similarly it is just a development process..In that humans inventing new things.. You also want to be better in your field, same those who are inventing it they want their better. Practically, it is very difficult to give emotions to computer, but let them try.
