These days, the biggest thing that impacts employees and their families is retrenchment. A good leader will think a hundred times before he builds large teams or takes a random business decision. He will keep in mind the impact on his teams, their motivation, job stability, career growth and so on.

So, do companies think from their employees perspective......do emplyoee interest come before everything else??

unfortunately not. In a recruiter's market, companies are always confident of finding talent. So the interests of the employee is not paramount. If he or she becomes unhappy and resigns, new talent can always be found. Such a mentality always costs the company in the long run but most organizations are not smart enough to ensure synergy between their short term and long term objectives.

Employees, skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled, as a team grow the company. The greatest folly here is the employer nurtures the skilled to arm-twist semi-skilled and unskilled. And the skilled are mired in a situation, at times, started feeling that they are indispensable, started ill-treating semi-skilled and unskilled. The situation turns around, the employer dis-owns the skilled force, replace them with the new team brought from elsewhere! Therefore, so long as "Employees" - all three classes - grow together maintaining symbiotic relationship with the corporate, they grow with strength and also gain more in the collective bargaining - but the reality is other way round! Our employers have picked up the nuances of "DIVIDE AND RULE" from Britishers in order to rein on the working class, that's a mockery!

Well, its got to be balanced. Even the employee has to be cognizant of the industrial goals, and work to meet them. Hence, it should be first industrial goals and then the employees'(which the industry should not overlook)

Now a days Employer considers the Employees Interet not cent percent but to great extent. These days it is not a tuff job to get talents but main problem is to retain them. For the organisations it is very tuff job to retain there talents because of wide opportunity available to them as compared to early days.

Employees are the backbone of any company. They make the company and "run" the company. Unfortunately the company has an "Owner" and is in "society". These obligations are also paramount. The employees are the second if not third fiddle in any company

In my opinion, the employer who has employee’s interest before everything, they grow very well and no one can beat them.. but these days situation is very worse…. Everyone is behind money, they are ready to do anything if they get money … there is no ethics in business … every where corruption…. I think leadership lessons are only for book in these days… we are not seeing any leadership which we read in book.. and which were there in history… i have read many article in which I found in olden days, “Employee interest were coming before everything else “ for the leaders in those day… for example Henry Ford Leadership.. He valued his workers a lot and showed that by giving value to Employee’s interest for all his work, you can draw talent from all over the region to work in… Whatever you do as a leader, if you can show that you value each and every person on your team, you will attract talent from all over the place. More than just their salaries, people want to work in an environment where they feel that they are valued and an essential part of the organization. Strive to give your team this sense of value, whether by means of salary or by recognition. You can be sure that in the long run, you’ll be drawing strong people into your organization.

Its very difficult to find where employees are treated as God. How many people these days have that perspective? If managers and leaders start thinking in that direction, they will automatically attract the best of talent to work with them. People start trusting them and enjoy working with them. But the situation is very worse. Employees leave jobs just because their employer is not sensible enough to understand their condition.
