Is nuclear power the best way to meet the ever-increasing energy needs of the planet, or do alternative energy sources provide a viable alternative?

It is a curious fact that the number of further years that fossil fuel resources will last has remained unchanged for the last few decades! It is virtually impossible to predict how long these resources will last because there are undiscovered resources and because the rate of use cannot be predicted accurately.

Yes ,when compared with depleting sources of energy. There is tremendous resource which address requirements of human generation. Most important ,safety aspects have to be studied and implemented. It would be better to use nuclear energy ( whether fission or fusion ,though looks difficult  from today's technology) for peace purpose rather than using for destruction.

The majority of the world's electricity is currently produced via fossil fuels. These are a finite resource and will run out shortly. It is therefore a necessity to find a new source of energy; we must therefore start to convert to nuclear energy now (so there is not a major crisis when fossil fuels do run out) and invest in nuclear energy for the future.

Nuclear energy could be cheaper or effective. There is big risk involved for the existence of humanity itself in Nuclear energy. We should do more research on alternative sources of energy. for the future. I strongly believe that researches on zero point energy (invisible vibration) is the future energy for earth. Solar, wind, waves are other fields to be developed on cost effect basis. Such mechanisms are costless once installed.

Thanks Mr. Shaju for the post....thanks for sharing the article.....
S olar energy is the most readily available source of energy. It does not belong to anybody and is, therefore, free. It is also the most important of the non-conventional sources of energy because it is non-polluting and, therefore, helps in...
No energy source is perfect, but nuclear energy and wind energy comes close when it comes to cost savings. So out of the two which one you think is the best and why?
