To avoid that, I select right key and then say 'open' ERROR is: this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. please install a program or if one is already installed create an association in the default programs control panel. Well Mr. S Venkataraman the solution is simple. 1. Open Start>>Run and type cmd and press enter. This will open a command prompt window. On this command prompt window type the following steps. 2. type cd\ 3. type attrib -r -h -s autorun.inf 4. type del autorun.inf 5. now type d: and press enter for d: drive partition. Now repeat steps 3 and 4. Similarly repeat step 5 for all your hard disk partition. 6. Restart your system Hope the problem will be fixed.......... After that please make sure that your antivirus software is registered and updated so that you must run a full system scan I'd also like to know which Antivirus are you using?
