To my knowledge i feel that MBA qualification is one coming from University entrance through the ladder without experience in the business. But Executive MBA is on with experience right through the years with lot of experiences as the name it self says Master in the Business and that is the last hurdle in the Business game you get to the top. I feel person with executive MBA is more productive to the Industry than normel person with MBA without experience but he will catch up at later stage.

Shobana ji i definitely agree with you.Executive MBA do give an edge in this competitive environment. To bolster leadership abilities, many Executive MBA Programs are increasing their focus on strategy and leadership and on higher management functions. In addition, they are integrating the curriculum to ensure that students not only understand function areas, such as finance and marketing, but the ways in which the functional areas combine to strengthen an organization’s competitive position. They are designed to meet the educational needs of business leaders from all types of industries.
Business leaders enter the program, complete classes, and graduate with the same group of students, giving participants the unique opportunity to meet and learn from each other. Taught by senior faculty members, the curriculum covers and integrates all functional areas.
So yes E-MBA is definitely a good course to shape one's career.
what do you say?

* Recognition as someone with the potential to learn at higher levels * Self-satisfaction knowing that you had the abilities to earn a higher college degree * Provides a good background in managing responsibilities that cross national borders (especially MBAs with an international focus) * Gain enhanced strategic thinking and managerial effectiveness * Higher pay than someone with less education (e.g. Management Consulting Salary Survey) * More upward job opportunities, especially management positions * Larger professional network through faculty, fellow students, and others you meet while in an MBA program * More jobs to choose from, including specific jobs for people with MBAs

Corporate demand for MBAs remains strong, and corporate recruiter data
show business schools are fulfilling the needs of companies and
providing the kinds of future leaders organizations require and Consumers are also smart. If business schools were failing to keep pace with
the knowledge, skills, and abilities students consider critical, we
wouldn’t see increasing applications.

I agree to the point one has to have a degree , will certainly give a jump to the top managment, but leaving a job for one year will have not much impact one's career life, but there is a bit of risk element attachedt to it, You believe that you will accumulate too much debt because of tuition while an MBA is not required for one's career goals thank u
