Experienced Managers do support Young Managers, except a small fraction of the people. Unless you support and train, creating a second level of management will be dificult. Without a second level of experienced management, Top Management suffers badly.

First and foremost is the benefit of company. Second is how does the young manager present himself and third is the possibility of practical implementation if all this goes right there should not be any problem.

The second and tertiary levels of Managers are created in order to share the responsibility. The tertiary level managers are the direct interface with the workers / employees, who are privy to both positive and negative factors about every individual under them. If the Experienced Managers at top level, as suggested by MS_Pi, ignore them, then they are inviting trouble for themselves and also for the organisation, as a whole.

Actual this depends on the organisation. In case if a senior manager is entrusted with a wide span of responsibility, he has no other option but to delegate the authority. Young managers at that case have to lead a specific profit centre.

I do agree with your view completely. Most of the issues is faced by the down level management and Top Level with their decision making authority they some times dose not recognize the issues, they takes decisions which company has to face in the future. They try to postpone the issues.

Dear Anil sorry to say that in general young managers are putting ideas which may not possible in real field. This thing may faced by experienced manager in their tenure so they not take young managers word seriously. There is one more reason that some time young managers not give proper age respect to experienced manager OR experienced manager feel insecurity from young manager so this thing may happened. It depends on ground reality so discussion on black & white may not conclude anything

Janki I agree with you but the situation may even go to both extreme such as taking the young manager very seriously based on his/her presentation and performance or being taken as a burden.

Ufortunately, i feel here lack in option or discussion. This is depend on attitude of managers, it is happen everywhere. Some managers are taking consideration and some are not. We have to analyse about our superior manager then we can propose suggestion otherwise its meaningless. Here i would like ti say that many organization are organizing suggestion box, weekly meeting for suggestion etc. and getting suggestion as well as to avoid inconvinence factor. Thanks MR. Janaki ram for referal

It seems this discussion is not properly put forth. Experienced Managers (Line Managers who occupy the position with experience without having required qualifications), tend to have some problems in gelling with young pals. Age and ego factors may be some of the cause for this. Both the young and experienced should understand that they are dependent on each other. They are engaged by an organisation to achieve the objectives of such organisation. If they fail to recognise this, organisation will be at loss.

It happens if you are energetic and more knowledgeable then experienced managers. They will try to grill you by anyway instead teaching them.
