There is a buzz lately that Facebook branded phone is on the horizon, but facebook is denying the facts of a branded smartphone which could be the social-networking king's key to competing more aggressively with Apple and Google as the Internet heavyweights take turns competing, cooperating, and causing one another fits.  

While it's still unclear exactly what, if anything, Facebook is cooking up, the two big questions many people are asking are why would the company even consider such a move and what are its chances of being successful?

I think it will be success, as there are many facebook loyalists and and the brand name of Facebook is very huge, something which has got to do with facebook people just love it and, and when hardcore tech companies like Google and apple can have their own smart phones then why not facebook, it's just they need to make sure they are not creating a clutter effect there, and rest apart the name itself carries tremendous brand value which people like to associate with..

if that particular phone contains gud feature with fast running then it will work but if they have the same old feature with speed then also it will work but not excellent

see company only matter in that relation ship where the quality and feature of any products are excellent with its running speed then only company with be highlighted

Thanks Taniya,when facebook has been able to overtake google, then there is no doubt that this will be success. There are many early buyers for such gadgets, i think that is where FB is going to make most of the profits. This is going to be a great success story for many of us.

Definitely  facebook phone will get success. Reason is simple facebook is among the most surfed site in the world and phone that support this application will sure get at the top.

I partially agree but i am sure they may not be successful like apple or nokia. we even know better brands like google phone and microsoft phone which they launched were merely successful. so only brand name of facebook can give success for phone.
