Old home made food is indeed good for various reasons but one has to consider fast food sometimes also especially when you are travelling or when the necessity of home grown food arises. We cannot also state for certainty that fast food is the only alternative. Fast food is amongst the world most dangerous food becuse of its effects on your health. A selective absorption of both with a slighlty more leaning towards home made food would be the best alternative.

Yes....home made food is good. But even with time honoured cooking methods, some things must change for the better. To say that something is home made, so it is good would be silly. The assumption is that it is cooked in a healthy manner. I think that assumption should be validated in practice. For that some of our habits have to change.

Home made food is good for health. However, this may not be available at all times. In such a situation, we should be able to compromise and manage with whatever food is available. However, we should strive to focus on home made food as it is nutritious and it helps to regenerate the health systems over a period of time. In the case of fast food, it is deleterious for our health and it leads to various diseases over a period of time......

I support this side only, since the consumption of fast food is not good for health. However in case fast foods are prepared without adding AJINOMOTO, which gives some sort of taste to the food and is highly dangerous to health & digestive systems, and contaminated oils etc I may prefer occasionally for a change. Ultimately, any preparation of food with the technique of homely type is good for all. The AJINOMOTO, a product from China has been increasingly used in all fast food restaurants to give taste to the food and is highly injurious to health. Thanks for the referral Mr. Malladi Madhukumar.

It depends upon habits and food practices. Fast food is not the only alternative. Those who are habituated with first food may be suitable for them. But, I like home food instead of first food.

Malladi in good old days various people from various places used to have different type of food mainly depending on availability and usefulness to the weather. If you really compare today the metropolitan crowed takes different type of food mainly fast food which according to me is not good because of weather in our country which is always warm. You can digest any thing during cold weather but with our type of climate the fast food is not good, It is my personal openion only. On the other hand if you see 6 lakh villages they still eat the same food and live a healthy life.(provided they get food)

No doubt, home made food. the food we cook at home, we are sure of the hygeine, the freshness of the ingredients etc. No matter how popular the fast food outlet is, we cannot rely on an outsider chef always. i have seen the backyard of a few such outlets ..... none kept clean ...

Home-made style food will be always better than fast food, Fast food abuse is causing health problems in almost all the world. However, it is interesting to see that the votes are almost equal in this debate. It may be a sign that we are getting so familiar to fast food that we are descarting the consecuences of consuming it.

Any health concious person will definitely opt for old home made food. They are hygienic, good to eat and healthy. We can't always trust on outside fast food. Today's lifestyle has forced man to depend on fast foods because of which new-new diseases are coming up daily. Whatever we earn, we spend on medicines. Every single man is suffering because of imbalanced food habits...

yes definitely traditional food of indian culture is very good for health of an individual. Because traditional products are home made by using good quality raw materials. But Fast food Restaurants are using low quality raw materials & make food tasty by using different types of "Masalas". I have seen many fast food owners to purchase bad quality vegetables from market at lower cost. So, in my point of view Traditional food is more better than Fast Foods.

"Nothing is like home made food" say it in terms of hygiene, taste or watever but in unaviodable circumstances fast food is ok. If we stick on to home food only there are situations when we have to starve . It happened to me, I used to have only home food and when I was on my first on site project, I had to live on salads and juices for weeks toagether because I could not adjust to the spicy and oily food andsurely burgars cannot fill ur stomach. So home food is the BEST..but please once in while try fast food too...you dont know when you may need to eat that.

Nothing can give us a healthy and satisfied meal as our home made. People do prefer fast food but i dont think anyone one of us can enjoy it everyday. Even if you are having it regularly then do take a membership at health club or obesity clinic later. Because fast foods like Mc donalds for example serve very tasty foods but DO PLEASE KNOW HOW MUCH CALORIES IT CONTAINS before u have it. I dont mean you shouldnt touch those foods. Once in a week at during shopping, or in multiplex we can enjoy it . But not daily.

When you are fasting you can eat fast food only. That is no grains, no salt etc. and it is good for health. It is light, gives you a healthy as well as spiritual change in lifestyle and can be very well cooked at home. Even when you are not fasting please try to avoid eating "Old" home made food. Always take "fresh" only.

No. It depends upon quality of the food. If you purchase a bad quality rice/flour/dal and cook it at your home along with bad quality vegitables, you will get less vitamins. If a fistfood centre prepare good quality food by using good qualities food items, we will get more vitamins in comparision to home food.

Todays world we have less time in home and more time in traveling for study, officeetc. So the time to have home food is less and to fulfill your hunger we need someting and the option is the fastfoood. It is good in test and its easely avalible in the market where ever we are we can have it. The business of the fastfood is growing in so speedy way that it provise you different types of food in different places. Eg if you are in south India there you wish to have Gujarati food but there is one restorent of fastfood which provide the gujarati food you will be so happy. So i support it and another reason for suporting it because i am leving in the hostel and the food which i get is not good so i prefer fastfood it give me good tast and relax from my hostel food.

If one is health concious, then it is advisable for him to take regular food and avoid fast food as much as possible. Regular intake of fast food results in different health problems, stomach diseases, skin diseases, hair fall and getting old before time.

One has to depend on junk food as i m a college student i think v cant take tiffins to college everyday..Even during partytime as u guys are doing big job so i dont think that u guys will take them to ur home and give them home made food we definetely have to order fast foods bcoz we get it easily. So i think fast food is sometime better than our hame made food.

I am not sure which side to post my comments since both of the arguments have their own merits. No one can deny that home made food is the best...but what do we do when we are away from home in line of our work?

Agree with you Japan.........no doubt anytime home food is the best but these days one has to move out of home frequently and also has ot visit places where you dont get hygeinic food so you dont have any options rather than having such junk food. But in the junk food even you can sort out some food which affects your health less no matter it doen'nt taste that delicious but must be somewhat hygeinic.
