Films are one of the entertainment medium, and it will exist in the coming days.... Especially in India there no alternative for entertainment like other countries. So in future films will not die.

But we should make the time short for the films like English movies. Because in the coming days people will not find time for 3 hrs movies....

Feature films are a very powerful entertainment medium and a platform for showcasing the culture and mores of a nation. The failure of feature films does not imply that the medium will die out. If the film is good, it will do well. A majority of the films are not executed properly and it has a thin story line and it does not attract the audience.

An example related to the media is TV and radio. Both co-exist even though when TV was present, there were doomsday predictions regarding the future of radio. With advances in technology, FM radio became popular as compared to medium wave (MW)....

If the technology advances, other changes will take place as per the market requirements which will ensure that feature films will continue to exist well into the future.....

In this fast moving techno world where Rocket Science is visible almost evverywhere sitting and going to a cineplex will become an exercise in futility. The failing and flopping of 90% of movies is the harbinger of things to come...Movies maybe on smaller hand held gadgets may stay
