The Finance bill is not passed as yet and the govt has time to talk about , IPL, Tharoor ouster, phone tapping

Surely if the govt is concerned they will first talk of finance bill and then go for price control and then for saving the food rotting in Punjab - here instead of stroing the fodder in godwons branded liquor is stored and the fodder (wheat) is rotting out side in open

There are lot of issues which can be discussed and resolved in parliament but surely the govt needs to vacation too, so they decide IPL, phoen tapping etc as priority

Nikil it is easy to speak from here but we should think about the problems faced by the government too. And Asoke I agree with you, the government has to be extra conscious while passing the bill thats why they are delaying. And you cannot say the government in not concerned about it. They are always concerned about the people and will take a right decision in favor of us.

So lets stop blaming the government and allow them to do their work properly......

All those involved in this mess are from government and first of all government will try to hide it's own sins by clearing the IPL saga.Apart from this issue all other issues are secondary;be it finance bill.Sharad Pawar is the main villain which is crystal clear but it is also an open secret that without NCP this congress government will be in troubled waters. So,the main agenda in front of government is to pull out Sharad Powar safe and clean ......

It is a mockery of Democracy what we see in parliament. Illiterate Ministers in parliament. everyone trying to be one up on the other. Every one has CRORES of Rupees stashed in their accounts. "THEY DONT GIVE A DAMN WHAT THE COMMON MAN HAS TO GO THROUGH"

THEY ARE NOTHING MORE THAN THICK SKINNED PIGS IN A STY OF CASH

I agree with your argument Mr.Shrikant

There is no point in blaming the govt. for each and every thing. Decision making involves several things to consider. Govt. can not take any haste decision in this regard.

Parliament is the seat of Parliamentarians where things are decided by them and some set of rules are there. Discussions in both houses may not be treated as "westage of time / money" because that negates the concept of Democracy.

--   Parliamantarians are to pass Finance Bill each year as routine. So long less discussions were held and "Gelotine" process was adopted for most issues and Finance bill was being passed only on voice vote

--   This time that may not happen -- so ruling Govt ( and its supporting parties) should be extra cautious to pass the bill

--   A section of the opposition is aggreived for price rise of Diesel and fertilizer etc., rising infllation and food price - they may not help to pass the Bill easily

------------ Mr Nikhil : Have a dep sleep this night. The Govt. has been saved by Ms Mayabati whom Congress / Rahul brigade hates too much. And ... this is Politics.

But one may not forget the most un-resonable rise of prices of Diesel and fertilizers. The common man is just burning - more and more farmers may have to suicide.
