I believe that investment in alternative energies; solar; wind etc will be the way to end the economic crisis. And economic crisis will not lead to an end of green.

During recession companies may want to cut cost by going green because of low cost.

But do you think there is any technologies available to go green? No

It requires huge amount of investment in the beginning and cost saving can only be seen after 2-3 yrs...

Companies may not want to invest at this point of time as they are looking for cutting immediate costs.

I feel that financial crisis will be the end of green, because without investment capital for research and development, it will be impossible for us to develop a new energy system.

Green will not face any problem since this is the time when companies are trying to control operational expenses.. which will lead to less energy consumption, paper consumption etc.. which will help green.

Also, everybody will start thinking of investing for green.. they may postpone investment, but most probably decision will be 'yes' to green.

Investment criteria might be tighter, but there is still an urgent need for greener technologies, whether it's to reduce emissions, reduce waste etc...So No end of green....
