Flexi timings are always best as it brings out the best in an employee. However, it should be accompanied by a weekly audit of every employee.

Flexible timings may be applicable to only knowledge workers/service industry and for all other categories, fixed timings is the best option. How can you run a factory, mining site, assembling plant on flexi hours. Flexible hours require high degree of maturity, professionalism, eithics to be successful.

When there is flexible timing, the worker sacrifices on his work wholeheartedly and there is every possibility of best potential from the worker. So it is always beneficial for the employee as well as employer.

Major thing is to get the job done. Flexi Timings are okay to an extent provided there is an overlap with the normal working hours at office where interactions etc can take place.

Questions raised is why do we need a flexi timing the basic concept is the employee needs to look after his other personal jobs also if the employee is organized he would generally not need an flexi timing where and to whom and would a draw a line for these flexi timings think about the service industry we are too focused on the IT sector and sets a bad precedent to the other industries.

Flexible timings are the best. You don't have to worry about being late and fined or scolded by boss. You can do your best by working when you want to. There should be monthly average time fixed so that everyone can be monitored.

Flexible timings in which employess can choose best timings for thier work. As in my views i believe Flexible times are more better because it can reduce the abseentisim n labour turnover. It helps employee to do other works too timely.Nowadays every organisation works in shifts jst to increase the productivity n to provide their employee flexiblity.

fixed timing is better in all way because if we have fixed time our mind will be fixed on that time .... flexibility in time create a delay in work....because when we have option that we can do our work whenever we want it make us lazy...most of us fixed our time to do study and the other work also behind this the only reason is that we would'nt time for delay in action

my openion is Fixed time is very best. why because in the day the working time is fixed. so we wont touch another thing when we r in the office work.so we will put the full affords on the work.then we will contact to all our colleagues and boss daily it is gud for employee for relation development. If its flexible time we can not able meet all. and another benefit also here i.e., if we have any personnel work we can go with takeing a permission .but in flexible time we cant take the permissin while we r doing the work. where in the organisation the emoployee put the full efforts in the work their the employer will benefit and the employee also benefit

in every industry flexible timings options wont work out as it really requires great sense of responsibility and professionalism but yes depending upon the type of work one can opt it, provided the employees are not using it as a scapegoat

This is a difficult topic to choose a single answer. The timing has to be chosed according to the nature of the job.A clerical job can have flexi timings .But a maintenance or banking job needs to be fixed

Fixed work timing will create healthy organizational climate amongst employees. Which would be an supportive step to reduce absenteeism. No employees would like to extend their work hours by sacrificing their personal life. Its management efficiency to get work done through employees in a stipulated period of time.
