Capturing bytes of banned and untraceable terrorists and airing them on channels have become a mania among indian terrorists. It's not only the channel that shot a terrorist talking to camera, but respectable channels like NDTV, ETV and many others have been crazy getting such bytes and airing them. Like in recent past, the channels went to shoot a banned and most wanted Maoists leader in the forests of Orissa on invitation from the dreaded Maoist. The channels even aired the byte as 'Exclusive' on their channels. The Reporters and their crew went to the secret camp of the Maoist terrorist and covered his claim of killing VHP leader in Kandhamal that forced the district reel under violence for over a period of two months. The reporters went without informing the police about the invitation from the Maoist leader. But, obviously, the police would have been terribly victimised had there been any wrong with the team of Jurnalists at the Maoist camp. Such culture and craze in Indian media must be banned.

Now every one of us knows that behind these terror attacks these terrorists only wants to expand their beliefs in the name of religious conviction. What do you think? Is it right to air their views?

There is some critisim over medias role in the recent terror attack. A report is published in the news paper that the terrorists could acertain the position outside the hotel due to this live telecast and they gave instructions accodingly to the terrorists inside the hotels. One should remember that the nation should not have think too deep about this attack if media has not exposed the tragedy. Media has done a good thing barring certain issues and its all happen in the course. I never support the people who criticise the media unnecessarily without any justifications.

Mr Naqvi As u r telling that 2 hours they were showing that show. that means u or some others were seeing those channels. By seeing only their TRP increases. What u have to show them that by not seeing it , they automatically stop that type of show. By seeing that u yourself thought that that was wrong !, is it not ?, OK this will teach us what is wrong and what is right!! means awareness !! That itself is a lesson to us. If we r not seeing that automatically TRP decreases.

The forth pillar of our democracy is the media. It is tru that they must have their own ethics. But this is a era of techys, and developement. The view is on the viewer how he take it on his perview. The the information like fashon show, sex education are also a debatable issues and opposed by some among us. We have to take the benefit out of it. at the same time the dareness of news reporter also appriciable. There is no second thought abuot the self ristrictions on the rating.
