Hi Brij, I agree with you. There are chances for the USD to weaken in the Indian market because the Indian economy seems to have an increasing GDP every quarter, this show that we are growing rapidly which means the value of our currency is also increasing.

USD will strengthen against INR because

1. RBI increased interest rates and it will continue to do so in coming quarters

2. USD will strengthen against major currencies in the world

3. Indian exports will increase with good rate every quarter

4. Huge inflow of FIIs into Indian markets

 

I am not surprised if I see USD/INR at 50 within next 4 quarters.

Hi Brij - The growth trends of the emerging economies like China and India may pull down the USD rates. How ever there is a point to ponder. China is blamed for artificially regulating it's exchange against USD.

Hi Briji, present USA economy too weak as on past decades. our people in USA compel to return India due weak financial position and major contracts in the world is goes to Jappan, China, India etc. Present information revels that, own production in USA decreases and at the same time Import rate increases. This will afffect the economy of USA these will tends to weeken the value of dollar rate.

Breaking away from the past trends, USD is expected to weeken against the currencies of the emerging markets e.g. China, India, Korea, Indonesia etc. The study of the recent trend line and projections for near term future indicates that it may break the major support levels and go down to INR 40-42 in next 12 months.
