When people think of investing in foreign markets forgetting their own country , the country takes two steps back in our development process. India is developing and if we invest in Indian market we can contribute in its deveopment. We shaould keep this in our mind before thinking just about good returns.

I agree with Esha. Why are we contributing to econmic development of foregin country at the cost of India? India has the best talent pool of human resources. The joke is at a time when MNCs are investing in India knowing India's potential, Indian cos are investing aborad.

Domestic investments are more profitable than investing in any foreign market due to two reasons. first Indian economy is growing at a moderate rate of more than 8% second there is no foreign exchange rate risk.I don't think there is any market in the world which give return and stability comparable to Indian market, thats why FII and FDI is coming in huge numbers in India over the last few years.

I support foreign investments- coming into India- that is :)

We need to get out of the brand "developing country" and that can happen only when we get investments. Not when we invest outside.

Besides what is the scope of Indian Funds/ Investments entertained fully in the abroad market?

Not the right time. Investments in- not out- that's the winning strategy.
