I think that would depend on the guy.
I have observed that some people would like to be with their friends than their partner.

 there is a place for both in your life and should be. However just remember this friends come and go, even your best friend might loose touch with you over the years

Cant help it but it is the man thing. But in most cases it happens if the wife is too overbearing and nagging ! If the wife behaves like the friend then there is no reason to go to a friend in the first place.

I am really not in a position to answer this coz' am still a bachelor. So, I would spend time with my friends more than someone whom I do not know. Or probably I can even spend time as a friend with someone's wife.Thats not a bad idea, though.

I M still bachelor so i use to spend time with my friends, but as soon as i will loose my bachelor degree, time will be divided among my Friends and one and only My Sweet heart. We have to manage yaar....

I think the reason is that friends are less demanding.

You are with your friends or family for three reasons :

1.  You need them

2.  They need you

3.  You enjoy your time with them.

If all these three are present in your family , you may spend more time with your family than with your friends.

ONCE YOU GET MARRIED, NO NEED TO GO TO ANY FRIEND, WIFE SHOWS THE ENTIRE WORLD THROUGH HER LOVE.  ONE DOES NOT NEED TO SEEK ANY KIND OF SERVICES, ONE ALWAYS SEEKS FAITH, LOVE AND MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING.      

THAT LETS THE WEDLOCK REMAIN IN SAFE MODE.  

THAT MUCH LOVE IS ENOUGH TO LIVE ENTIRE LIFE WITH HER.

It is quite difficult to favor any one between friends and wife, as both are integral part of our life and we can't neglect either wife or friends.It is very essential to strike a balance between our family and social life. As someone rightly said when your blood relations don't help you its your friends who come forward to help you and also without wife man is incomplete.So its very necessary to give importance to both of them..........

It is necessary to spend qualitative time with the wife. To avoid the avoidable. Ask any married woman. Her main complaint is that the husband is not spending enough time with her. Even it is difficult to bear with, no way !!

It depends upon the person.. some think friends are precious than anyone else. and for some it i their wife. my husband loves to spend time with me. so, a BIG YES :)
