We have a policy that tells us to make development plans according to the gender sense. Govt insisted to cities to make their development plans to help the weak gender.. But is it practiced anywhere ??

Maybe not in a very great extent but yes, it is still practised. In schools, buses,government jobs everywhere 33% reservations is for women. Government schools are giving special care for the feminine gender. In schools like Kendriya Vidyalayas, single child if is daughter, then she needn't pay fees. There are lot more facilities going on favouring girls....

I just saw that all cities share their fund with someother works and shows it as the fund alloted to women in their budget like "project to purchase land for women industrial estate" Actually the project meant to purchase the land and it carefully included in the budget head meant for women.
