There are some differences in the sexes, they need neither be emphasizes, nor downplayed. Nature eventually takes it's course, & every child should be allowed to develop into the individual that he / she is, There are other equally important identities, like patriotism & profession ...

Men and women have the same strength, qualities and have capability of same nature. So gender can not be a basis of discrimination or divide. In today's world, gender is irrelevant.

In most cases it is not necessary. But in some cases you cant help it e.g. seperate toilets. Or put it differently - where brains are concerned there can be no divide; but as far as brawns are concerned how can there not be a divide? In essence it means , there is no need for an artificial divide - the genders themselves know where to differ and defer!!

Gender divide is not at all necessary. Both genders are well capable in their own feilds and uncompareable with each other. However both the genders need to be run parallely to serve the society and socio-economic culture. Superior or inferior/capable-uncapable is the peoples quality but not the gender. Both genders can be dynamic and can easily fullfull their neccessities independently. Transforemation needs to the society and culture of the country.

Division of any kind on any basis is against the spirit and law of nature. We have already invented so many bases of dividing the humanity. Now think of uniting! LK

gender divide is not necessary because we all know our limits of what we can do or what we can't. so in this perspective we hold good in nature. in karma field such as any institution or any organisation we should preach the same knowledge to both genders so that they can have a long run with their shoulders together side by side. coz one without other is useless.

Hi Abraham, just because a woman can create life she is bettere? Not in my view. And yes i speak as a strong modern woman myself. The whole idea that one gender is better than the other is very appaling to me. The woman cant create life without a man's help. A man i think doesnt find peace in life without a woman he can love. She shows him what delicacy, softness and calm in life is. He shows her what adventure, adrenalin and politics can be for example. I believe both genders are complimentary. Different like chalk and cheeses yes but no one is higher or lower. And as far as i see the "gender divide" discriminating basis gender is a very petty and useless thing for society. Let us all try and bring up our children as good humans with healthy self esteem. The men and women thing is god defined and beautiful for both. and yes- let us not say that women are superior because they bring life and nuture families because then a man has an excuse to run away from his responsibilities. Please stand up and live as a 50% partner to the women in your lives.

Disha is absulutely right. According to me if at birth we were allowed to select our gender in that case the gender divide should have sound great. In absulutele terms there should not be any gender divide in order to progress faster as a human as a Nation.

Gender divide is not an appropriate concept in India as in many countries it is done on account of religious, moral or other considerations. India being a secular country does not need to focus on the gender divide. All members are equal and hence the gender divide creates artificial separation among the members. It also does not lead to better performance in the long run and it will be counter productive in the long run.....

the diversity of gender goes so far out in certain parts of India that we can come to the point of calling it racist...however i think that there is a growing tendency for disregard of the above, due to multiple factors such as a good cross over of international culture.

I support the idea that gender divide in not necessary. Now time has come when we all must desolve the divide between men and women. Both the sexes are complement to each other. We must visualise HUMAN beings as a total entity.

When we talk about work place....women are not free to work 7 days and 365 days even though they are not ill. They have a major part in keeping the same specious on the earth. When they neglect their part until the government give paid leave to the mother to grew a child until teen, the result is many abused children donated to nation and we are facing the main problem in society now. If am going further it will be a long article itself. Let us all find a solution together to begin the 21st century.
