Giving all agriculture extension Activities in private hands can benefit Agri Industry?

Since last 60 yrs of independence our department of agriculture have not done anything except regulation on the stake holders.

Now Can we think that all the research 7 extension activities should go in the hands of private sector

The problem with the agriculture sector in India, is small land holdings. To overcome the problem, cooperative forming on prorata ownership shall be introduced. People have to educated accordingly. All land owners will invest either in the form of money or labour in proportion to their share of land. Agriculture extension activities shall also be dealt by these cooperative set ups. Govt. should confine its activity to that of facilitator. They have to be given free hand. Demand will decide the price of produce.
