There are number of times when there is a lot of congestion on or via gmail but this time it was not congestion because the same thing happens on occassions like New year eve but it was never that it has come to a standstill.

It was only due to a great amount of congestion that has happened on a particular time that was the reason when it was not able to respond back.

Through my personal experience I can say that it was a trick that someone was trying to play, the file size which I was attaching was very small but still I was not able to send it and in between it was transfering the link to some other things which I could not follow.
