My personal belief is that I would not want my professional coneections to be knowing my FB id unless they are close to me!!! FB is for my social networking, Gmail is my email... I dont want them mixed up. FB already has many privacy issues. All these are there because ppl dont want HR guys to know about their social or personal stuff. So no Fb-Mail or Fmail for me!!

f-mail like f-book will get f** in the concept of privacy. there is no privacy whatsoever in f-book and in my f-book account, i get all sorts of unwanted links and requests. normal e-mail appears okay and has minimum privacy built in. apply some spam filters and 99% garbage goes directly into the bin. f-mail will only cause a lot of problems with privacy.

i prefer not to mix our social life with professional life. as we should be professional at office being a professional.. but we can be like anything at our social life depending on mood and celebration. so i won't let my professional personality down by letting all know about my social kind of stuff. i always see these two(professional, social) are two different things and always maintaining them like train tracks(parallel) . i won't let any of my personalities down because of other thing. its all about management. Cheers guys and girls, Raja

Well its not much about better features. But what about the privacy of your social life.

We take a holiday and because we put some jolly comment on our FB, the client comes to know about it!! Do we want that? We dont want our clients to know about all the personal stuff. So I wonder if FB or Fmail would be able to provide such strong privacy filters!!

Gmail is used more as a professional mail ID used for getting official and important mail but Fmail has inbox section which put mail from friends in a separate folder and rest in a separate one which will always create curiosity for reading the friend's mail first and will hamper the professionalism of an individual in mails also.

YAA ITS TRUE THAT PROFESSIONAL LIFE IS DIFFRENT FROM THAT OF PERSONAL BUT ONE CAN NOT SURVIVE WITHOUT MIXING IT.

ATLEAST A BIT HAS TO BE MIXED.

IT CAN BE POSSIBLE THAT UR PROFESSIONAL LIFE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH UR PERSONAL LIFE BUT UR PERSONAL LIFE DEPENDS ON UR PROFESSIONAL LIFE .
