Background:

Energy is one of the major contributor for the economic development of any country. In developing countries like India, energy sector assumes critical importance in view of the ever-increasing energy needs, which require huge investment. Every state is concerned, it has been facing an energy crunch at a day-to-day level.

Hospitals are big energy guzzler where activities go on round-the-clock, which demands more and more energy consumption. This energy consumption is not for free but has taxes the finance and accounts of hospitals heavily.

There are new technologies available to conserve the energy in Eco friendly way which serve the dual purpose of saving money and also adding the value to the vision mission of hospitals.

Many hospitals have tried this innovative ways to conserve the energy and has set the ideal examples in front of others.
