Google Apps To Include Video Conferencing: Will it be accepted?

Very soon, Google is planning to roll out their first set of updates to Google Apps which will include the multi user video conferencing. ‘Apps’ is an online communication and collaboration suite that Google offers as a solution to schools and businesses.

Google had started looking for ‘skilled and innovative Senior Video Conference Engineers’ as far back as 2005. The 2007 acquisition of Web and Video conferencing software from Swedish based company Marratech, indicated that it was only a matter of time before they came out with a Video Conferencing feature. This also puts adds an interesting dimension to Google’s recent buy out of Gizmo5.

It definitely will.....

Google Talk, Google Voice with a PSTN link along with Video Conferencing is be a killer combination. This will help organisations to ease in their conferencing and use it anytime.

It would have been nice had Google been integrated MSN, Yahoo, AIM und ICQ and redesign the UI. Google should add more functionality in Google talk like Video call, video call conference and video call auto answer feature. Windows client first Google should be updated. It has been years. Until Gmail Chat works in Linux, and the streaming speed is better, Google can't honestly claim that they even offer voice or video chat in Gmail I don't think it would be accepted
