I prefer non-IE family browser, it (IE) doesn't support security, however you can access to local machine file systems with IE, it's awful, really awful I think Google decided to kill IE and Firefox chrome is so better than IE and Firefox, IE with large memory usage and Firefox with many crash but Chrome is the best

If you search something on web page then in Chrome you will get all the occurence of search in right vertical scroll bar. The feature seems to be nice as you will can get an idea of the occurence of succesful hits.

I would agree with Mr.Pradeep.Chrome is somewhat better than IE8.For instance Chrome Web browser shows a user's nine most visited sites, as well as a
list of recent bookmarks and recently closed tabs. The tabs, showing
open Web pages, are placed over the Web address bar.Visually, Chrome is basic, spare and efficient, an antidote to the
busy, cluttered look of Internet Explorer, and the anxiety it can
provoke once you get lost within its menus. The design of Google Chrome is minimal so that users are primarily experiencing the
sites and Web applications they're visiting. Chrome has almost a retro feel to it, as if this is how Web browsing should
have been 10 years ago, during a (relatively) simpler time, when the
Internet for the masses was still new and all about exploring
interesting sites rather than having a knee-slapping night of
entertainment finding the grossest videos available on YouTube. Both Chrome and Internet Explorer 8 work quickly, although
Chrome, less laden with add-ons, moves at lightning speed.
Because of all these slight advantages Chrome is somewhat better than IE8.

Well, I liked the tab. When you click on new tab then it shows you the most visited pages as thumbnails. Which is really good. I don't know the exact reason but my antivirus GDATA is crashing and after that my internet connection goes down. Analysing the issue will update

I ran chrome for few days and thought it was a really good
browser, very fast. However, i came back to IE7 when i heard about
privacy issues and google gathering information. giving it a few
thought before going back.

I feel IE 8 brings some better functionality & outscores chrome in terms of... - IE 8 also has "crash recovery” for tab crashes
- More excitement and interest for Web developers and IT managers
- IE 8 is beefier in terms of security and Web development tools.

I love this browser and have been using IE up through all the different releases.
I use it because it has always been something I could fall back on when
all else failed. There is a lot criticism that new chrome browser was essentially acting as a keylogger, potentially recording users' every keystroke. What is Google really upto ??? I am sure IE8 will become more stable and fast as time goes by, so lets get
real friends...

Internet Explorer 8 is the "kitchen sink" browser. In addition to carrying forward the legacy of Microsoft's much-maligned ActiveX architecture, IE 8 adds a host of new capabilities, including Web Slices, which are sections of a Web page that are isolated and reproduced in a separate, updatable mini window; Accelerators, which are basically context menu options that activate common Web services such as dictionary lookup or translation; and In Private Browsing, aka "porn mode," which lets you surf without leaving behind a browser or search history, cookies, temporary files, and other evidence of where you've been. With 75% market share, It will be difficult for google to break into.
