Google offers jobs to Nokia employees : is it good decision?

As Nokia plans a significant job cuts Google is already ready to hire the employees from Nokia. Though it has not been declared that at what level will the job cut happen still it is for sure that many would be loosing their jobs. In such a situation Google opening it doors for these jobless employees will be a boon for them.But at the same time is it right decision for Google to hire them?

As these will be the employees who have enough experience it will be great for google. Anyways the company won't be taking anyone without interviews so being in loss is out of question. It would be great for the employees as well because they will get to work with the Eagle being left by a turkey!!
