Yes, for example, since last 5 years, I do mot carry my camera. Instead I use the mobile camera, get excellent snaps and even video shots. Any new gadget shall replace one or more of existing stuff. Otherwise what is the use of technology and research? Ms.Namrata Pathak should come out of the box and think.

Calculator was supposed to simplify our life, mobile phones were supposed to simplify our life. The end result is for our brain every simple thing has started appearing complex due to dependency on a system. For calculating two digit numbers you need calculator . The artifical intelligence seems to have caught up with human intelligence. The problem is with human intelligence . Ever since the machine world problems such as memory loss / obesity have become too common to be termed a disease. Anyone machine which simplifies a task that can otherwise be done with human intelligence can only spell trouble for the future.

The new mobile payment technology could replace cards in the future if it is proved successful in the field. However, currently, there are not many Android mobile users and in India it is much less. However, market analysis reports indicate that Android is gaining share in the market and if it succeeds and becomes popular in the future, then the future of the cards as a payment mechanism could be in jeopardy. Thanks for the referral, Namrata....

I think Google's Android can do this. But we have to consider the other providers also. The apple's iTunes store already implemented the in-app purchase method, which almost reduced the card usage, and also apple is trying to make it a global one (ie) to use it globally. They are already succeeded with that. Once Android gets success with that, at that time apple will be in different height. So Android can, but not much.
