I Think there is always a great demand for google than Facebook, When we see a long run there is lot of scope for google compared to facebook and one of the important factor about facebook is there is no privacy.

Google will win, it has many services than facebook, and profit make from advertising by google is higher than facebook. No doubt Google will win.

The argument is misleading. Win what? Nicest colors, the biggest number of visitors, the biggest amount of registered users, the best search, the best advertisements? You try to compare an apple with a car, like "Apple vs car: Who will win in 2011" So, Google will win when you compare them with the biggest number of searches. Facebook will win with the highest number of registered members

what i think is that its defently the "GOOGLE" because life is not just social networking apart from that there is a much bigger picture that is knowledge and in that there is no match of google and facebook is no where near in providing the knowledge

What i believe that the basic function of google is different then facebook. We use facebook as social network through which we can connect with any friends,relatives who are geoguruphically dispersed from us, On the other hand google acts as information provider.We can search any information we want. As per importance is required both are quite popular in their areas. As per competetion is concerned , i believe that google will dominate any other website. Rest it is up to time , if people find some better search source then google then things are different.No doubt facebook is quite popular among young generation, still search requirements are always more. So google is better

Both are entirely different products. One touches all information you require and other helps you socialize and hear your social circle. But if it is specifically about the question asked I see google as the winner. It does not stop on content for your personal consumption only but provides content you require professionally. Add to that the tools you get which help you in your professional life. Google has shown what diversification and innovation means.

I THINK WE SHOULD NOT LOOK THE MATTER IN THIS WAY. AS A HUMAN BEING WE HAVE TWO HANDS AND BOTH ARE EQUALLY IMPORTANT. IN THE SAME WAY THESE TWO SUPER COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY ARE ALSO NEEDED. GOOGLE GIVES US THE VARIOUS INFORMATION AND SHOW THE DETAILS OF EVERY ASPECT WHAT WE SEARCH. IN THE OTHER HAND FACEBOOK ACT AS AN SOCIAL NTWORKING SITE THROUGH WHICH WE CAN CONNECT WITH OUR NEAR AND DEAR ONES AND ALSO GET INFORMATION ABOUT VARIOUS ASPECTS. SO I PERSONALLY THINK THAT THESE TWO ARE EQUALLY NEEDED BY ALL THE NETIZENS

We should look at "Google" and "Facebook" as two different entities serving humanity in a big way, and each one has a utility distinct from each other! Google was conceived and used as a primary search engine, and is considered to be number one, and the utilities weaved around are multifaceted, but sparingly used, whereas "Facebook" serves us a different purpose and has a different utility!

Look at Google - they have so many worldwide popular services, tech capabilities, Android platform for mobile and very soon for tablet platforms. So integration of Google is everywhere. And security level is so good - compare quality of anti spam filtering in Gmail with current level of spam on Facebook... Another reason is constant experiments of Google – more and more new services! Ok, some of it is gone, but they are looking for inventions, while Facebook does only minor changes mostly. And finally for Google it is a great challenge, so they can (and have to) do more effort than Facebook! So I think Google can make REVOLUTION while Facebook is only capable for evolution.

by facebook, people can only know what their friends want to tell them, what their friends are sharing with the world, means a limited access. but with google they can know too much about their friends and world. what is happening all around. Google help them in both ways professionally and personally. So, Google will always be in more demand then facebook.

I had answered this before I think!? "As far as you and I are concerned, there is only one fundamental difference between Facebook and Google. They are both in the business of accruing monstrous amounts of data about its users -- but they both have very different sets of data. Facebook only knows what we explicitly say about ourselves -- our age, our hometown, our favorite TV show. Our Facebook profile represents who we aspire to be; Schindler's List might not actually be your favorite film, and you might have only read the first page of that Nietzsche book, but who's to know? Google, on the other hand, can only implicitly deduce facts by our browsing habits. Google might not know our exact age, but it knows a lot of things that we would never tell other people, such as our late-night browsing habits. Google knows that we like to spend hours looking at stupid pictures of cats and videos of pandas sneezing. Google knows that our favorite film is actually American Pie. In other words, Facebook knows who we want to be, while Google knows who we actually are. It's when you join those two halves that everything slots into place. That's when the singularity is reached; that's when superhuman intelligence will indelibly alter the landscape of humanity. Don't worry, One will buy the other! :) Until then Let's argue! Cheers!
