The tragedy struck again,this time in Kota,Rajasthan,The suspended bridge pivoted on single column,spanned over chambal river has collapsed.The Hyundai and Gamon are jointly constructing Rs.203 crores project.The blame game has started and will try to shift on one another.The cost of skilled engineers,and labour apart,this has shattered the confidence of the people who are directly involved in taking up such a challenging assignment.In such a huge capital intensive project,no loose corners one can afford.The planning part must include where heavy machinery are in use,inventory and schedule maintenance,beside the training of operators,competency,health certificate.Before deployment,it should be ensured that all necessary schedules are done.i would invite the experts to dwell more on the subject so that our infrastructural projects do not suffer.

The facts remain,that due attention is paid to design.planning activities,identifying out sourcing,time bound scheduling.The mismatch appears Grey area where machinery is left out taking for granted that every thing is update
