Has India really facing lack of technology in power sector?

As we r using the outdated technology of russia in our thermal power plant....that is a latest technology for us...why cant we have our own efficient technology?...dont we have capable engineers?

We should stop following other countries on case of technology...we should have our own one...

Hey

It is not that we are lacking or lagging behind in Technology or in Experts. It is called Technological Collaboration that we interact with one another in the World. It is all, mutually, shared all over the World  in the interest of man-kind ( also called Business). We have Nuclear power plant totally designed & operated by us say, as we have in Kalpakkam.
