It has defiantly bought us together as we get knowledge of other countries and culture.   

Now a days, with every individual becoming career oriented needs to go along with his/her job. So living in different cities has already set us apart but all thanks to technology be it mobile phones or internet we are still in touch with our past colleagues or friends and are able to reconnect. Although in a way we are also set apart by the technology only as we can talk over the internet or phone then we think why we should meet as we can meet online. So it is upto individuals to utilize the technology they want to.

The internet has really brought out together.. Today just sitting at one corner of the room we are able to speak and even see what our relatives are doing at some other part of the world.

I am completely agree with the fact that Internet has brought us together.We all are part of this community and sharing our views and ideas without even knowing each other,don't you think it's the best example to answer this question.We have listen many cases of marraige where couple met on chat rooms and now spending life happily.One can talk to his relative,even watching him whether they are far away from each other.Thus Internet has just changed our life in all aspects and this change is better.

Never forget that the internet is another tool and medium to one's goal... for communication, networking and information. There is a line that needs to be drawn to strike a balance between socializing and getting connected to a friend or relative when it comes to relationships. I got in touch with my long lost school buddies after 2 decades.... that is absolutely amazing - the net has enabled that, it has brought us together. My school mates and I will meet up one day or when they are passing by or when I am passing by their place somewhere around the world we are going to drop by into each others place to say hello!

It is like how much TV you watch...the remote control is in your hands..what you watch is left up to the individual.

Yes,definitly Internet has brought us together.We all are exchanging our views without even knowing each other.It is possible only due to this technology.Without any discrimination or any such thing all type of people are exchanging ideas together,chatting with each other.So don't you think it make us close together. 

of course internet is the only thing which helped people to feel bieng closer than earlier.

Internet has helped us improve Relationship maintenance, no doubt.  It has completely replaced the old methods of communication and has facilitated keeping in touch with anybody, anywhere, anytime. Building and maintaining relations has ever become so fast and simple.  

Internet has actually brought the peope together, not even between the friends in the school and colleges but also the personal relation between colleagues working in the same office has been increased through orkut, facebook etc. we can actually talk to each other and share our moments of life vide photographs .

now the gap is less and the whole world is a "Global Village"

Of course , the internet brought us together but it is through machines only.The physical closeness does not have an alternative in this world. Whether there are  phones or internet the real happy lies in the physical closeness only...But for the people who are very apart from each other the internet is a powerfull and cheaper medium through which atleast they can share their feelings bymeans of digital letters......k its an invitable but the people should be aware that this is not an alternative for the affection the lies when the persons are physically at one place.....

I think that as like other aspects of life,the internet has also two aspects.But the important thing is that we are able to know the whole world in seconds with the internet with us .......what do you expect more from a informative media by sitting at our home.

We able to connect with friends and relatives who lives remotely. we should know how much time in a day to spend for this networking. if we meet people in person who really close to us and share good time with them, they will also join in this social networking and won't feel that they are missing something. So in this way our network will expand and we can do certain things together.

Everythng comes with some pros nd cons....internet has changed our life more thn nythng else...though its true tht it has made us so lazy to not to be together physically but virtually.....bt some how this was good, bcoz in real life...u'll find hard to get familiar to everyone bt thts not the case whn u r on internet....there is no hesitation,no shying nd u stll feel flying.....technology's playing a crucial role in our day to day life....u cant evn imagine a single day with out internet...whr u interact with many people.......aftrall its goood to b connected with all ur loved ones nd whts wrong in that.........

The internet has not only brought us together but given us forums to express ourselves when face to face. For example during face to face events we can use the likes of twitter to be involved in live debates and ask questions to presenters though the twitter # tag. Further more we can now have live webinars with massive global reach for either training or selling purposes.

The web is constantly evolving and each time it has we have been bought together further. I am personally looking forward to the next developments.  

very obvious to say that internet has brought us together and it has made possible many impossibles also.Prior to that we people were affraid of doing STD & ISD to keep in relation with near ones because of high rates.Bt we can now easily think of keeping in touch with them through intenet with very minimal cost.Not only that we can also see them in our desktop screen,all thanks to internet.

This why we call the whole world now as Global village as everybody and anybody knows people from one corner to the other. So internet has made this world a much smaller place by connecting them, and people can get information within seconds and to me it has brought people closer than widening the gap.

Obviously internet has brought us together but its human nature to have some differences in thought process so there might be some distances created between few persons or communities or even nations but the core idea of internet is to bring people closer and making a global community.

In my opinion the Internet has brought the world together into a small one. We now have the opportunity to live in our own little worlds. The world has become a smaller place and hopefully we are on our way to realizing that we all have more in common than we have differences. If we can guide the population to the realization that we all have to protect the planet we live on and we have to co-operate to do so then we will have a future.
