If matches are fixed then those allegations must be proved and media here has a large role to play to expose that truth. If not, Hashan can keep his mouth shut as we have no time to hear to his nonsense.

WEATHER HE IS RIGHT OR WRONG THE BENEFIT OF DOUBT IS THE YEAR (1992) WHICH LEAVES LOT OF ROOM FOR FAIR AMOUNT OF SUSPICION.

Is total World Cup is fixed to make India, as a Winner? It is really suspicios , as 4 changes were made for the final by Srilanka & Ajanta Mendis's exclusion in-spite-of his good record against India is really put a question mark on Sangkara's decision. May be Hasan is trying to tell the truth behind the story. Thanks for referral, Himanshu.

I agree with you. If you go back to 1992 there were hardly any money in cricket which is true today except for India. So match fixing is one way to earn extra. I am sure now things have changed.

This one game which gives you 'noveau riche' status in a short period if you adopt tricky methods. He may be right in saying so. Definitely, India had witnessed a number of "black sheeps" in the past and had taken corrective measures. Where is patriotism these days - even the rulers are not patriotic, what else can be expected out of these young budding lads, if they are lured!

Wherever there is money, there is corruption (match fixing in cricket and other games). And wherever there is money, a disgruntled participant tends to blow the whistle and expose it. Guess, Hashan was landed a raw deal somewhere and by somebody and he is complaining now. Dont worry, folks. This also will be hushed up and the world will be back to normal - match fixing, etc. Afterall the public should get some adrenalin flowing when they watch the matches by paying their hard earned money. And what better way than this?
