Healthcare in india is a state subject which means there is lot more local politics involved, In india hospitals & health institutions are not regulated by any central body & therefore any body can start healthcare business (even a chaiwala )

Many states have enacted law for registeration of hospitals & nursing homes but as we know 100% is never a reachable figure & some how other states are registering hospitals under shops & commercial establishment act.

if we go more on details all these registerations are either managed under labour laws or IT act which means there is not a single authority to control healthcare business.

India has more number of RMP /RDS/Etc defined degree(what we call quakes) holders than MBBS/BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BDS degree holders combined together.

if such a huge number of professionals are qualified in this field without any degree(quakes) then why should we draft such stringent conditions to open any medical education.

for opening any medical degree programme in india all institutions are required to take prior permission from the state goverment, university & the prescribed council or board.

therefore there should be stringent federal rules in india for healthcare services & minimum & basic standards should be drafted for all such kind of practices.

If factory act can be adopted by all factories then why not healthcare institutions should be controlled for more defined labour & healthcare practices.

I think this is the time indian goverment should take efective steps to manage healthcare by central act which can prescribe necessary eligibility of all healthcare related services.

all health practices in india should be managed by well qualified persons as it is matter of great concern to patient health & safety.

Healthcare is a financially profitable business & it should be regulated like any other commercial (for profit) institution in india.

I hope positive steps would be taken .
