The Munjals promoted Hero Group has recently  launched its first high speed electric two-wheeler E Sprint in the country, priced at Rs 37,400, after launching the E Sprint, the company has now plans to roll out E Sprint across the country.

E-Sprint could go up to 65 km in a single charge with a maximum speed of 45 km per hour, he added.  To reduce vehicular pollution in the country, 11 state governments have given VAT relief to this bike.....

The E-Sprint comes with hydraulic front disc brakes, telescopic shockers, and is powered by what the company calls a BLDC motor that outputs 800 W. Charging time, though, is a lengthy 8 hours – which means that after your 65 km run, you better plug it in overnight to ensure it is ready to go on the next run.

This might actually sell quite a few in the initial run and can be targeted towards the 15-18 yr old users atleast as trainer bikes but may in all probability fade off unless specs are changed to get through 100kms on a single charge at an average speed of 50kms...assuming that the scooty cannot do a max of it's current limit of 45mks/hr all the way through 65mks.

Considering that most electric scooters in India are low-powered contraptions that can touch 25-35 kmph and often do not need a license to ride, the Hero E-Sprint is high-speed alright.  It looks like an adequate machine to transport you from point A to B. A single charge would take the Hero E-sprint to a distance of some 65 kilometers, and after that is the problem and then a very long time to get it recharged, it will be useful for travelling very less distance like for college students, and at time where pulsar and yamaha dominating the scene with the youth, may be girls will go for this kind of electric bikes, but whether it will be successful or not is  a difficult call to take as many might go in just because they think that one can reduce pollution.
