Yes I am also of the opinion that the film stars deserve more since day in day out they are entertaining some where or the other place & also earns foreign exchange( in case of films) on the other hand we need to pay foreign currency to the cricketers who comes from abroad.

Film stars bcos they work longer hours under harsher conditions unlike a cricketer who gets paid even if he doesnt play. All he needs to ensure is he gets to be in the team naked or otherwise. One should try dancing in the first place forget naked or clothed and then only will we appreciate the hard work that it involves. Imagine putting on layers of make-up and sitting under harsh glaring lights or cold wintry days with a beast trying to smother u with kisses or molest u. I dont think cricketers go through such harsh conditions for their money.

Between both of these, Cricketers WASTE more of Public time than Film stars. Moment there is a cricket match, most of the work in most organisations either comes to a grinding halt or is in a go-slow mode. This Loss of productivity has to be added to their income also.

Well, if you think a half-naked dancer should deserve more than a fully clothed cricketer, then how much do you think a full naked dancer should be paid? Cricket as a profession has been made more glamorous and sexy than it should be. I really have no answer - Why? But it should be viewed more of a sport than a money making machine. You can see film stars minting crores by just dancing and sleeping naked even in their 50s but this is not what you see in cricketers. They sweat out to stay fit and competitive and most of them retire when they are in their late 30s and are in cross-roads to earn further. Yes, common man should be paid well, but cricketers represent a nation and please dont deny, they have performed well in the recent years as a team. They have every right to earn at their peak because they anyway lose their rights to earn big much early than their filmy counterparts.

I support cricketers, infact any sportsmen. Film Stars are not in total of the video we get. Cricketers/Sportsmen are total package of the performance we get to see real-time. True Heros of the entertainment. They thus deserve more than any bollywood / hollywood star.
