for getting a job, qualification does matter, but what matters the most is the right skill. sometimes that comes with education but many a times, that comes with learning and experience

In my point of view, I dont think Higher education is needed for getting a job.. Its actually depends on what job u need... If its for scientific jobs surely u need higher education .. But if u need a job to live with it doesnt need higher education . Instead u need life experience, sense of humor(common sense). I started working when I was 18 years... I did a lot of works, I didnt have higher educations.Even though I had the will power & life experiense.. First I started taking tutions, & from there my career changed at last nw I am in Aviation Industry... Nw I have both in my life, education & experience.. . I attained both at my 22nd year.... So with my personel experience I can say that higher job is not needed for getting a job...

For getting just a job higher education may not be necessary but if you want to grow in that industry then higher education plays the role. You cannot attain a good designation if you are a simple diploma holder or something. There may be some exception to this but this is the only reality.

Hiher education is not mandatory for all sort of jobs. But Yes when you are looking for a high profile job.Companies gauge people's knowledge not only by therir previous experience but also by their qualification from recognised universities.

In India, it is necessary ! not only it is necessary it has been made mandatory by the corporates even for some idiotic jobs where you require double digit IQs. Indian HR Managers and corporates must introspect on the kind of culture they have provided to Indian job seekers. Every other guy just out of college be it MBBS, or B tech or BBA or BCA is doing MBA ! why ? because indian corporates and HR managers seek MBA even for a peon job !

No longer is just graduating from high school the way to obtain a job. More companies are requiring specific knowledge from the early onset because of the newer technology and new innovation on the market. Education works hand in hand with experience however in order to gain experience a person must obtain a reasonable AND reliable education. Without learning a solid foundation, there is less chance at getting an offer or obtaining a well-paying entry level position.

We equally required higher education and also skills. Both are depended on each other. Without skills higher education will not take you to a higher position and with just skills you will not get a chance to prove yourself. Thats what i think.

Its not just higher education but Professional Education that is needed. Even the normal graduation done after +2 is also known as Higher education. But i think soon after +2 students should have the choice of doing various professional courses like Certifications etc

A Job and Career these two words are totally different i think. Higher education is not so neccessory for the job but when it comes the matter for the career, you must think about at least graduation. And nother fact is that you can't promot your job or designation without having a degree in your hnd as your gate pass.

Higher education is perceived as extremely important, and for most people a college education has become the necessary admission ticket to good jobs and a middle-class lifestyle. Parents of high school students place especially high importance on a college education, and African American and Hispanic parents give college an even higher priority than do white parents. All groups believe that the country should ensure that no qualified and motivated student is excluded from a college education because of the cost.

My Dear Friend, Mr. Dheerubhai H. Ambani will not be a right example in this debate as he was successful in running his own business, rather if you go to a company like reliance there are certain parameters for job, higher your qualifications better your chances for a higher post / design. so i believe you can get a job but not a good job if you don't have qualifications.

Fisrst of all I would like to say to Mr. Sajankumar ji that the question you asked is incomplete, and this is a mmessage to everybody using TOOSTEP that they should act proffesionaly in asking or answering anything. I have seen lot of times that they just write thank you and I agree instead of elaborating and defining in their own words. This is not like the FACEBOOK site. If you agree then give thumbs up if u don't then thumbs down. Now I come to the point, education is not always necessary for the job. But it's necessary for the right kind of job. If you want to become a servant then it's not necessary but if you want to become a manager of an organisation then you will certainly require necessary education. Nobody will like to be a house-maid. With the help of this statement I can say that education is necessary for getting a job we really want.

Education is necessary for getting a job but am not saying education alone is necessary. Education gives you an entrance ticket to get a job but along with education as sajankumar have mentioned confidence, skill and a positive attitude is more important.
