There are so many other alternate therapies these days like, acupuncture, homeopathy, Reiki and now the Holistic therapy. to know more about what Holistic therapy is all about,  do watch the video to get a better grip of it.

Holistic therapy is a generic term for any treatment that is intended to treat the individual as a whole (mind, body and spirit). This term is also often used as a catch-phrase for complementary or alternative medicine. Whatever you care to call it, there is a growing trend toward supplementing traditional medicine with other methods of healing.

My question to you all is, Will this holistic therapy be able to cure diseases as they say?

You have initiated new debate "Why scientists  dont have a scientific outlook to most of social problems", its a jeopardy that people of scientific community dont analyse the situation except their narrowest possible are of scientific knowledge, therefore you write "no comments' Why???. Itsthe stand of world health organization that holistic medicine can work as complementary therapy whether or not it will cure the big list of diseases is  matter of research, and holistic medicine has performed very poor in documenting the scientific research. Its score is ZERO in India.

The basic premise of any treatment is to better the lot of patient and if anything helps in improving the clinical status of the patient, it should be welcomed.

Western medicine, of which I am a practitioner, has its limitations, in many areas, especially chronic neurological and allergic and auto immune states.

Alternative medical therapies can certainly complement modern medicine, in helping a patient recover faster. This has been proved over and over again.

Some of the theories of alterantive therapies maybe archaic and totally unscientific, but that should not deter anyone from using them, the bottom line being patient benefitting.

I wont say completely they can cure diseases, but then when the traditional treatment procedures have failed, people have opted for these alternate therapies, and this holistic is somewhat still in  a nascent stage in Inida, but in abroad there are many holistic healers and people are telling they are getting results with this, and there is also improvement with this type of therapy.

According to me I don't think so, as Holistic approach is backed by very few people, and the success rates are also very less to me, only few cases where there is improvement they make news, if not people would have gone ahead and got themselves treated in this manner from a very long time, I think the traditional method of treatment which is from doctors is the best way to get treatment for a disease as they understand the disease and its implications and affects in much better way than these holistic personnels, though the video which looks really interesting where the person doesn't even touch the body of the patient is hard to believe that they can cure.
