Finishing schools are the best. Self study would give you an idea but he practical knowledge comes out of the exposure you get. Plus however good you are you need to be brush up the rust on the surface and an external help proves really good here. My teachers used to say that self study is the best way to study but the most important thing for development is a guide who will take you into the right direction. This is where the institutes come in and they come in for good.
