I like it. When you give a personal feeling to clients the trust level increase and there how the understanding also. Which in turn generates more business and good output.

I dont think so!!

Facebook has been built as a platform for people who want to connect to friends who have relocated themselves outside the country for reasons of job etc. Facebook has the widgets to share and renew the family ties, bonds of friendship via photosharing, virtualgifts, birthday sharing, sharing of young ones, new borns.... Its too PERSONAL. Maintaining professional relations on basis of personal reasons is very dangerous.

It takes one mistake for a client to find another vendor. Personal relations are of no use here at all. But at the same time what a person choses to do outside work hours is of no concern to the company unless it has dampening effects! Its very relative, subjective matter. It is delicate and has to be handled very maturely!! I would not encourage it ever!!

Good debate point!

Yes, it gives a personal feeling to clients and also it depends upon the individuality. This will increases the relationship bonding. 75% of clients will add and rest of the 25% will not prefer facebook for professional use. They would like to use linkedin.

I agree with Deepali. Certainely to have the work done in a smooth way if the client is not nearby than face book is a good substitute.

I think it improves our network and relationship in a healthier manner, because of the technology the world is small place now

We need to keep in touch with each other to share our views, opinions and experiences. As a part of corporate life we might be far from friends and people migrate to different cities or countries, the facebook is the place where we all meet and stay in touch

i feel very comfortable with my friends on facebook

thanks

i m not in the favour to connect the clients on facebook.ya,the human touch and being closer may produce good result but when the matter of money and business is involved, being personal may sometimes harm the project and business.

as far as the good relation are concerned,if the client is perfect in what heis dealt for than it would automatically generate trust and bonding for furthur future.what is the need to mix up professional and social life.

Deepali mam,i would like to have your reaction on my post,please...........

As far as colleagues are concerned, meeting them personally makes it more personal and gives more human touch.

As far as Clients are concerned: If I say facebook introduces better understanding and increases trust level, Tomorrow u might say "Discussing issues on facebook will be better than using official communicators"

Someone might argue "I go on tour with clients and it builds understanding and increases trust level"

Question is where do we stop?

Tagline is: It is an illusion that Emotions, PI and personal discussion helps us achieve something from clients when we are not confident of delighting them through services.

It will be clever to think that we can win clients when we are better in service not in Personal Interaction(Clients are clever too and pay for services)

Afterall something on Earth is there that is umprofessional

Waise Dil chahta hai!! to alag baat hain :)
