With the speed of change being introduced into the information fabric most companies are dealing with, the antiquated processes they follow must be overhauled to be effective. No longer can we use stone tablets and pick axes and expect to be providing a valuable service to our organizations.

Hence I will go for Rationalized Infrastructure as many companies would like to state they have a level of automation .As it has  current and stable automation with test labs for cutting edge tech and applications. Redundant data centers and systems, etc.which will be beneficial for the oragnisation.

I still feel basic infrastructure is more relevent at many places. But still if you ask, I would prefer something in between basic and standardised. Accessibility without compromising on security is in place. However, proactive detection of failures and fool proof automation techniques are a far shot at this point.

My guess is that corporate Infrastructure tends to grow more rationalized with companies that are not focused on or creators of technology.

I am in support of Rationalised Infrastructure. Our infrastructure is mobile, efficient, and disaster tolerant. Its modular nature allows highly granular control of IT resources with half the energy costs of standard "facilities" and associated compute power.

I would say it is rationalized, as it combines "faculties" and the datacenter into a miniaturized appliance.

It is very difficult to say whether standardised or rationalized. And now automated thing has also come in. But still I would say if any comapny is following standardised way it should shift towards Rationalised. Though there are a lot of security policies being enforced as far accessibility is concerned but still a lot of process should be in place which would help better in getting around things quickly.
