What I've personally experienced that says most of the recruiters sitting and busting real talented people just because of some stupid reasons like voice and accent or stability issues makes me feel that those people are really an extra burden who don't even know whom to recruit and who is real needy of job rather they are interested in the gender of the candidate and the amount of certificates they have and not looking on the kind of learn-ability and determination as well as dedication factor

Firstly any corporate practice or process that can be down-sized or discarded will definitely be done so. But the very fact that top corporate organizations, successful businesses as well as MNCs utilize dedicated HR departments must mean something. No organization would want to invest man-hours or extraneous expenses to maintain a network for the sake of recruiting. Moreover, using HR/PR resources to customize your requirement and transmit it over a greater reach (pan-India or more) makes more business sense. HR is here to stay and grow in dimension.

It is not only 'very much important' but critical because 'recruitment' is also a function like sales, marketing or accounts. 'Recruitment' as such is critical to effective functioning of any organisation because it is the people who use capital and machinery and who perform. Recruitment Department analyses the manpower requirements of the company in terms of numbers and quality of people based on the market scenario.

Mr. Cyril S M I really appreciate what you quoted however it is a cruel fact that the factors like "Mera dost" ,"Mera bhai" Mere Chacha ka" etc. actually matters great in this field and there is where competition is murdered brutally and the real talent is wasted like a trash and ultimately those who deserve themselves the winning position actually ended up as losers and vice-versa

Mr. Ananda Vedhathri  This is the same alibi which I get from the recruiters and this is a crap because if I can communicate well and efficiently as well as effectively with those in foreign countries like USA and UK (I am not telling about the migrants but the native residents ) then what to conclude that Indian recruiters don't even know what is communication and they continually stick to the same sick recruitment procedure with same set of questions and a predefined formatted answers. Would you like to deny that same pattern is followed in every company and this is where the recruiters fail to value the learn-ability and workability as well as determination accompanied with dedication of an individual. Now just forget about me this is a global factor for the increased rate of suicide and crime rate as the talent would like to be wasted or being paid for it's existence. If those protocoled recruiters won't work out of that scripted format then I am sorry to say then it will give birth to more Osamas and that too very rapidly............. or will end their valuable life

my view, most of the recruitment department seeks immediate performance from the aspirants. somebody can give immediate performance but most of the candidates cannot. heavy pressure is the reason for recent suicides by employees. suicide of employee is a huge loss of manpower also
