It could be either way. Should give comment based on the information available on the subject to give value to argument.

Lots of poeple say a lot of things about a single idea or a single person, hence the ground reality is often not known to many.In such a situation commenting without giving a thought is not proper.

in case of Ideas you have to tell your knowledge about the topic, in case of debit you have to defend the point that you are right with some evidence, either it is for side or against side you have to give your opinion, SMM Executive http://www.nichesuite.com/

I always study the topic, understand it, if required even do some reference before replying. If I find the topic is not of any relevance I do not answer it. It is not answering for the sake of answering.

Not only in toostep, whenevr you are asked for an insight or answer, you must do an R & D before you react. Never answer depending on your mood because your wrong answer or insight could put someone into trouble or even yourself to trouble. Never mix your emotions with your answers, it is against professional ethics. Regards, Shruth & Smith Foundation. Banshankari, Bangalore. http://www.shruthandsmithfoundation.org

Thanks for referring this wonderful topic Rohit sir....yes, even i too acknowledge frequently , some people commenting without any active involvement ...we should not merely comment only to satisfy the invitee....there is ought to be some material in any comment we make.....so REVIEW, THINK AND COMMENT is purely justified..

If u r comfortable with the topic for which u r commenting then it is OK. But merely posting the vague comment is worthless.Again it happened, that the topic u r posting gets repited. So merely change of language for the same topic is not good.So better 1st REVIEW, then THINK, & finally COMMENT.

Basically the care should be taken by invitee, as there are no of debates & ideate & insights are available on this platform, but sometime a debate related to finance subject is referred to a civil engineer & I think that civil engineer gave it's view just to satisfy the invitee. This thing is happening to most of us. Thanks for referral,Rohit & I hope you will also agree with my point, which I had experienced in the past.

Review, Think and than comment, This will be right way to participate in idea or debate. If participants are posting their views both the sides means having lack of knowldge of particular post and following or hang of someone's post. They haven't their own view for particular post. This could be a one reason.

To err is human! Mood swing is common in every set of human beings! Thoughts and reflections vary according to "Vaasanas"! You are right, at times we go berserk in presenting our views, that tantamounts to lopsided view contrary to what we want to present. REVIEW, THINK & COMMENT is the right approach, and more than that, stick to the argument till logical conclusion is arrived is the best part of any argument, whichever side one takes! Thanks Rohit ji for starting is wonderful debate!

Personally I think it's important to give the debater freedom to post on either side. He may want to address certain points on the other side too, hence his post on the opposite. also, during the course of the debate a person could chage his view. Best leave the individual an open field to choose his postings.
