But it will be suicidal to all politician if they d'nt consider Jan Lokpal at this time because at this time public anger is on 7th floor.I d'nt know why they are not understanding the situation. There is a risk of internal rebel as going on in other part of the world. More-over corruption free India will be in benefit of all(Politician as well as there BAGAL-BACHCHA's) in long run.One may think that since he is on side where he can take more bribe than he need to pay but the overall impact of this corruption is always negative in nutshell.

The politicians are afraid of the jan lokpal bill as the corrupt would have to face the trial.Moreso there are many political stalwarts who are already involved in corrupt practices and many do have tarnished image .the political party has been a secure haven for these. Also the parties too are worried that they may be tarnished by many of their political corrupt leaders by being implicated will bring the party down in the minds of people. The party would loose faith in the minds of people which could be temporary and people are not fools also to recognise the same party as doing good and would stand for it at some point of time. People at the moment in the present system have to vote some corrupt party or the other as they do not have choices. All party leaders have some business entity for them to get it grown for their personal vested interests and also to pump in the project based money into party funds which has no accountability. Therefore get the lok jan lokpal bill or lokpal bill that can treat corrupt people corrupt policies, corrupt procedures and corrupt organisations. Its then the corrupt will lose strength to use their money power to influence things on their footing. The congress is worried about losing on this front i feel.

Actually we d'nt want to eradicate the corruption we just show that we want. The day we ourself decide to eradicate the corruption there will be no corruption. We see corruption in the work done by others not urself. It is like friction w/o which we can't move on earth.Where is the corruption? 1)In Politics: we d'nt know the level of investment required to get elected as a member of parliament moreover the risk involve/uncertaintity/expectation of society. 2) In Govt. service :we d'nt know the difficulties /uncertaintity in getting the Govt. job.Only lucky person can get Govt. job moreover RTI/CVC/Vigilance/Audit etc are there . Similarly at other places like Business,Industry etc.Hence you are requested not to make public fool as there is no corruption.

May be some times CBI may be usefull. Every government Institution is becoming a tool in the hands of Ruling Party. Either they dance to their tunes or their hands are tied by certain rules and regulations. Also personal working in Government Institutions including Income Tax dept, CBI, RAW, CAG, Judiciary over a period of time have become fans of one or the other Party or a Person in Power. After all they are also humna beings like you and me. Over a period of time our primay and secondary education system has been spoiled beyond repair and moral lessons are not given importance. Every one wants to have education which earns them Position, Power and Money. Many just wants to have a degree. Universities have become factories selling degrees. Naturally in future we just cannot find any one in this country who is honest, non corrupt and leads a value based life. That being the case how can you eradicate corruption in this country. Situation is worsening day by day. At least now we should wake up and this discussion I hope we will be able to mobilise people through this discussion and further follow up. The best way at this juncture to stop corruption or at least slow it down would be control your corporator/panchayat member/MLA and MP of your area. He is your servant and not master. If behaves like a master after winning the elections using his chelas force, teach him a lesson. Warn your local Police personal if they try to protect your representative. If you analyse the election rsults you will find the following: Only 50% of people have voting rights rest being not elegible to vote because they are bellow 18 years age and we think they dont have matured brains and cannot think who should represent them. 60% of people vote in this country and any candidate who gets 35% of the polled votes get elected. This means an elected representative represents only 10-11% of population in his constituency, yet he always says he got mandate from people to rule people. You should demand that the elected person should conduct a meeting of all elders in the constituancy periodically take them in to confidance and then try to plan and develop his constituency. Dont return the same person to represent you again and again. In the absence of a rule you can prevent any person from winning and represnting more than once or at best twice in life time. Dont allow children of representatives to contest elections or at least defeat them. We have such a big population and there is no dearth of talent. We have dynasties in this country ruling us even today. nehru Dynasty, Deve Gowda Dynasty, Karunanidhi Dyansty, NT Rama Rao Dynasty, Ydiyurappa Dynasty, Sharad Powar Dynasty and so on. Every one wants to becoame Minister, Chief Minister, Prime Minister and wants these positions for life and pass it on to their Children. Politics and Ministership has become a wage earning profession which doesnot require any qualification and experience in life. If a person wins elections 3-4 times then that is the experience required for becoming a Minister. If a person Acte in 100 films or builds a dam with peoples support or plants a fake bomb or reforms himself from goondaism or for that matter roles (Urulu Seve) on the road from Kashmir to Kanyakumari thats enough qualification to become your representative abd become a Minister too. All these are happening because we dont have a qualification for voter or a candidate standing for election. No exams for him. Today even a high school boy of 14 years can decide what he wants to become in future we prepare him to become Engineer, Doctor, IT / BT professional, A Singer, Dancer, Cine Actor and So on. He aspires and strugles to become what he wants or his parents groom him and help him for that. But he is the only person strugles to fullfill his ambition. But when it comes to voting he doesnot have rights. In such a situation how can we prevent corruption.

The corruption cant be stop but it the frequency of the corruption can be less. we have to opt either of two option...1. All we have to change ourselves 2. Very tight rules should employ on peoples for correption. but 1. is almost impossible and second is nearly impossible coz there is always few people involve in making rules who are corrupt themselves. rest all of you know

Media will sensationalize every opportunity to increase its TRP and make money. It is no use depending upon media or others. From thousands of years we liked being slaves. Our religion preaches slavery, people worship and corruption. For example from worshipping Rama - Krishna - Shiva we came down to worshiping, Mayawati, Mamata, Jayalaita, Yeddiyurappa and Soniya-Rahul, Mody and so on. From offering to god for evoking his blessings when we are in difficulties or when ever we want to raise in life or satisfy our greed we have started bribing / worshiping people who already occupied seats of power like performing pooja to god and offering to god. if we are equals then why should only the present day Politician and his family be in power always? Unless we change our constitution to eleminate such dynastic rules and give voting power to 100% of our population and make eligibility criteria for voting and for contesting in election through a well designed competitive examination and only one term for a person we cannot eradicate corruption not only in this country but whole world.

Corruption is a creation of the society we come from. For example, when I was a kid and did something wrong. I use to bribe my sister with a 5star chocolate bar (which was Rs.5 at that time) not to tell to parents. Wasn't that a corruption? I bribed because i was scared of my parents and on the other-hand, parents were scared of the society as I would have brought bad name to them and the society as a whole.
Parents are also born within the society and evolved in that fashion. To be honest, we need to change the society.
~SOCIETY~
Oh, it's a mystery to me We have a greed with which we have agreed And you think you have to want more than you need Until you have it all you won't be free Society, you're a crazy breed Hope you're not lonely without me... When you want more than you have You think you need... And when you think more than you want Your thoughts begin to bleed I think I need to find a bigger place Because when you have more than you think You need more space Society, you're a crazy breed Hope you're not lonely without me... Society, crazy indeed Hope you're not lonely without me... There's those thinking, more-or-less, less is more But if less is more, how you keeping score? Means for every point you make, your level drops Kinda like you're starting from the top You can't do that... Society, you're a crazy breed Hope you're not lonely without me... Society, crazy indeed Hope you're not lonely without me... Society, have mercy on me Hope you're not angry if I disagree... Society, crazy indeed Hope you're not lonely without me...

"...Can anyone say what would be their "extra" earnings from these collections/ bakshish ?..." This extra earnings could be around 5000 to 7000 rupees per meal, free without taxes and without any hard work. I salute you for posting this type of stupid and corrupt attitude of Indians. I have voiced against this kind of nonsense and in that process I got the nick name as "the moron against poor people". This is a communist attitude where the poor is blackmailing other sections of the society. People who voice against this kind of day light robbery are usually robbed, harassed, etc so that they change. Other middle class and upper class people seems to be encouraging this. In the end people like you and me get singled out. Hope other people change!
It is the upper and middle class indians who encourage this type of corruption. Does any one pay bakshish to any one of us for doing our job? NO.

The Passengers without any hesitation paid their contribution from the range of Rs.10/- to Rs.100/-. What is this? I am confused. I have asked my co-passenger and replied that they are poor people and paid for love and affection to them. Is it correct? Can anyone say what would be their "extra" earnings from these collections/ bakshish ? PEOPLE MUST CHANGE.

The Urge for making more money comes because we cannot come out of the habits for spending more and more. Our relegious rituals and the way we invent more wasy of spending for performing rituals (Marriage for example: Earlier the engament used to be just an affire between the bride and grooms family, now even engagment is also performed like marrige, inviting all friends and relatives. We spend lakhs of rupees, more than our means for performing marriges. From where the money comes? We go to temples, fall behind Swamijies, Babas and Astrologers to find relegious ways to change our destiniy or to find which route we have to follow to earn more money, we offer part of our would be earnings to gods in the hope the god can be influenced to change our destiny and show or clear obstacles so that we will be able to earn money. We waste money not only on astrolgers but also on lucky stones, lucky pendants (Hanuman Kavacha and son advertised through informertials in TV). From where money for such expenses has to come? In our relegion we sell god in streets (you can see today people trying to sell gods blessings in god on push cart, gods photo hanging on pujaries neck in every trafic junctions, temples built on stray sites and other public places to avoid take over of such sites by government, temples and its branches being built every where. Taking Tirupathi Thimmappa to peoples doorstep, as if he comes whereever these people take him. We dont learn even after Temples go to court to take control of these money making establishments (The recent ISCON episode), people trying to take control of Saibaba,s Assets, Killing of a Priest and Shankaracharya's arrest, delenquishing office by Swamijees, removing a successor swamy (the wellknown Mat in Karnataka belonging to a majority comunity), Swamijee's supporting corrupt politicians and swamijee's participating in TV show called Big fight and exposing themselves, swamijjes in sex scandles and so on. All these are for the sake of money. People who give money to such swamijees, from where they get money? It is all illgotten money. Can you tell me did our relegion say that you have to spend million of rupees for marriage, Is there any where in our scriptures that you have to spend money to please gods and change ones desiny. There is a relegious institution that preaches against population control. If you do not control population how can you feed and educate increasing population? You will then start resorting to corrupt money. I am not against relegion but the way we practice relegion. If the pracices take control then it is better to be a non beleiver than beleive ib God. The way we have accuymulated wealth in Temples and mutts and the mutts enetring formal education, health buiness and other fields that is supposed to be provided by the government and look for awards for such works instead of preaching relegion and lifting this society from blind faiths, should we pracitce such relegion? Corruption today is because of these. Corrupt people are infected by such faiths. A CM who had to stepdown after Lok Ayukta in Karnataka is now busy conducting a Yajna to grab power and Astamangla Prshna is also being conducted to find out the cause and correct his destiny to proceed according to his desires. What a shame if such rituals and pendents and gem stones can iradicate poverty and make us CM,s and PM,s they why waste time and money on development works and building infrastructure? use only a part of that nmoney in destributing gods pendents and performing Yajna to eradicate poverty? Now can you tell me if relegion or the way we practice relegion is not the cause of Corruption?

In HR, there is concept called Collective Bargaining. Community-by-community, area-by-area, locality-by-locality, we should start Collective Bargaining with EACH AND EVERY ONE of our local politicians. How much cash will they give us to get elected? They have to bid for our votes. The Electoral Commission should act as a sort of "eBay" i.e. an auction house of votes. "May the highest bidder win!" should be the warm wishes we give the politicians at the start of the auctions. Then, at least we can probably get our localities some proper drains and roads - on our own!

13 BJP-RSS men found guilty in Kerala bomb attack
Source:http://www.rediff.com/news/2008/nov/14-13-bjp-men-found-guilty-in-bomb-attack.htm
Kerala:All the 13 accused in a bomb attack on a house in 2000, in which three members of a family including a six-year old girl were injured, were found guilty by a local court in Kannur on Friday.
The Thalassery Additional Sessions Court (Fast Track-3) Judge B Ramakanth found the activists of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the Bharatiya Janata Party [ Images ] guilty and said the sentence would be delivered on November 17.
The court found them guilty under various IPC sections including IPC 307 (attempt to murder) and Section 3 and 5 of the Explosives Substance Act.
The court dropped charges against the sixth accused K Pradeepan, following his death in a bomb explosion while handling crude bombs at Cheruvanchery last Monday.
The court examined 23 witnesses in the case.
According to the police, the incident occurred during panchayat polls on September 27, 2000, when a group of BJP/RSS workers threw a crude bomb when the girl was playing with her brother in front of her uncle's residence at Cheruvanchery.
The activists had assumed that some Congressmen were hiding in the house, a fall-out of the dispute between the rival Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress over electoral malpractices.
Besides the girl, whose right leg had to be amputated, her brother and mother were also injured. PS: Breaking away from dynastic rule, RSS will name the bomb factory in kerala as Nathuram Godse Institute for Bomb Making

I'm Asking Him To Change His Ways, And No Message Could Have Been Any Clearer. If You Wanna Make The World A Better Place, Take A Look At Yourself, And Then Make A Change'

we should stop offering the bribe an follow the system!I did that too...just to save time. Before 5 days of leaving India to abroad i was driving my car in my city with tinted glasses, police stopped me asked to pay either 1000 rs. on the spot or go to the CJM courts and pay there... I did big mistake paying money to the policemen there. later on i found out that if we go through the legal system i would have save atleast 750 to 800 rs. Anyways i learnt from my mistake and from that day onwards i decided to go through the legal system only!

FIR against BJP CM and Family Members Source:TNN BANGALORE: Lokayukta police on Monday registered a First Information Report (FIR) against former CM B S Yeddyurappa, his two sons and son-in-law, charging them with corruption in a mining deal.
Yeddyurappa, his sons B Y Raghavendra, MP, and B Y Vijayendra, and son-in-law R N Sohan Kumar have been booked under sections 7, 8, 9, 13(1) D, and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Yeddyurappa figures as the accused number 1, followed by his sons and son-in-law. Lokayukta SP Vidyasagar is the investigating officer.
In his report on July 27, then Lokayukta Justice Santosh N Hegde had recommended to the governor to initiate criminal proceedings against Yeddyurappa. The governor had written to the Lokayukta to initiate action. Meanwhile, Yeddyurappa has approached the Karnataka high court seeking quashing of Lokayukta's recommendations against him. The case is pending before the court.
According to the findings, South West Mining Company, a subsidiary of Jindal, had donated Rs 10 crore to the Prerana Education Society owned by Yeddyurappa's family members and Jindal Steels purchased one acre from Yeddyurappa's family members in Bangalore for Rs 20 crore, though the guidance value fixed for the land by the government was Rs 1.40 crore.
Will Yeddyurappa and family members be arrested? "It depends on the circumstances. After scrutinizing the documents and evidence, the investigation officer will take a decision,'' said Lokayukta ADGP Jeevan Kumar Gaonkar.

Yes best way to stop corruption is to keep our hands clean, but unless every one keeps their hands clean it is only suffering for those who keep their hands clean. under the present condition we should demand for amendments to constitution to ensure every one especially the educated votes, electoral reforms to stop election campaigns and only publication of CV of candidates by election commission after due verification, candidates residing in the constituency for at least 10 years, only one term for an elected member in office bringing in 100% IT in Government, Stop using politicians photos in advertising government schemes and publishing government performance, should reduce corruption to minimum.

Start at home first. You emotionally blackmail your spouse into doing something that has to be naturally done by him/her. Is it not a form of corruption? You tell your offspring if you get >97%, I will buy you a laptop. Another form of corruption?

More and More corrupt people are joining Anna Hazare now because they know that only way not to get caught later is start supporting him and join so that when ultimately Team Anna Group gets power these people can grab it. It is sad that people like Swamy Aginwash, Justice Santosh Hegde and Mrs Kiran Bedi are not able to see it. Karnataka ex CM whom Justice Hegde indicted in his report is the first person to join Anna bandwagon. BJP IT Cell has sent a circular (I also received it) to join hand to support Team Anna. Where it will end?

There are theft, robbery and rape cases even though we have tough laws to stop and handle them. But who cares ? Similary even if if u made thousand laws, still there will be corruption due to GREED and EXTRA NEEDS of people. Who can stop the secret healthy relations between a Vendor/Contractor and the Client who pays percentage on every payment ?
