How would it be if Consumer Durables goods are customzed as per the requirement of the state?

I believe it would be great to do as local business would accelerate at faster rate. Say different state has different requirement say for examples people in the North are mostly Veg so the refrigerator which we offer have both space for veg/ non-veg so for North people we can offer ref with Max space for Veg and thereby creating very small space for Non-veg, else we can give a converting switch to the system, second is  foot dispenser . households find it difficult to open doors of ref specially when both of their hands are occupied so if a foot dispenser is attached at the bottom of the door i think that would add as customization.
