Management Side: HR works for management. By Employees as per the orders.

Emplyoee Side: HR works for Employees, by Employees as per the policies.

This is the same thing.... Chicken or Egg???

HR is a department which is the HEART of the organisation! It needs to be human. Gargi, I ask you this, if your article about HR going tech and your support to it is of any value then you shouldnt have said EMPLOYEES!!

It is a known fact that HR needs to be a department which when necessary whips the lasso and then at the same time be an agony aunt! It cannot be for Employee or Management .. It has to be for PEOPLE and people are the core of employee and management! This is not a valid debate!

HR works for Employees, by Employees

after management is also a part of  " Employee " who works for the organization and bounded by the policies too. again HR is also comes under " Employee", isn't it ?

A properly managed organisation need to have an HR Department/functions in place before it can actually start recruitment of employees. If there is no HR department , this will be a chaotic situation.

HR is for Employees majorly. As HR themselves are employee of the company. what ever rules they will formulate, they will also applicable on them also. They are basically the trendsetter even.

Yes Sanjib i agree with you HR works for employees and not for the management, but he is influenced time and again by the management to take decisions which he doesn't really want to so HR is more towards employees than management......
