HR has the advantage of living in proximity to the power (top management). HR is responsible for the administrative matters. Administration is the powerful area in any organisation. So, the Power is in the hands of HR and has the charm when compared to Finance and Marketing. I am not going to deny the importance of Finance and Marketing. They are equally important for furtherance of the organisation. But, they are more or less thankless jobs.

You can make it even more challenging, if one strives to improve the way the company or business is run, create more talented team across the layers, simplify the policies, enhance the longevity of the employees by covering them under health insurance, preventive medical check-up, and help them in reducing occupational stress-related issues, etc. It all depends upon how one views the functions of HR in his own perspective!

Every field is Good. No any one field is bad. Ans people are working in each and every field. The important thing is "Right Choice" as mentioned by Murthy sir. And How want to make it success? Most important part. Do not focus that what other say, but focus on which filed you like most, your interest are in which you want to make your career?

It is really fantastic career, if you have a zeal to reach at the top. Here, getting a high salary job in initial level is a bit tough; but once you get it, your career is boosted. I am also in favour that HR is a good choice as a career.

Whether HR is good or not depends on individual to individual. If you love the job of a HR, it is the best job, if you hate it, its the worst. Now you have to decide whether you really have the passion to be a HR. If yes, definitely go fir it, if No, just leave it and do a job you are passionate about. Regards, Anna George. Web Analyst.
