In what happens to be a new technological innovation, IBM is coming up with spoken web concept where people can just talk to the microphone in their local language and he can use internet and get information on everything, and do all the things without the help of a keyboard or a mouse for that matter.

And for Amul which is having such a huge network in so many states, it was really difficult to get the middle men out in this business but, now with automatic milk fat reader they removed middle men and brought more transparency, and now with this kind of new technology like spoken web, it will be great for many to get information regarding various issues without the proper knowledge of using computer by a farmer.

So what do you think people can spoken web really help farmers?

This new technology is a great boon for farmers and people in villages who don't know how to use internet, and this new spoken web will help a lot and this creates an excellent opportunity for farmers to understand the power of web, though this was a amul initiative, similar steps can be taken by government to introduce internet and make sure that internet usage is increased with these kind of technologies. So yes this will help farmers and also Amul by having transparency in dealings with farmers.

Even though i would like to be on the yes side, but then looking back at the infrastructure that we are having at the moment i don't think so. these kind of technologies needs effective infrastructure to support, and with very less penetration of internet in Rural areas and fewer broadband connections it is highly impossible that this kind of technology will be used to its full potential.

In India, Villagers and farmers have no idea how to use a computer in their daily life. But with this new technology (WWTW), they will certainly be benefited as it requires zero expertise in operating a computer. Thanks to the technologies and its inventors.

yes definitely IBM can be ahead of amul...coz IBM brings new technology which is easily understand & useable for bourgeious also. & most of the part of India is having a bourgeious category rather than top-notches.

This generation is fastly moving along with the latest technologies..so it would be beneficial for the growth also.

Of course it will. Amul is already in the minds of people and with this type of latest technology, its quality and speed of service will increase in a very high speed resulting in the furthur betterment of their quality. This process will definitely ramp up Amul's business.

Technology can always be used for uplifting of the people those are not in mainstream.  The idea indeed is marvelous and will make miracles, if implemented properly.  With huge resources natural, human, talent, etc. this shall not remain only dream.  The only deterrents will be politicians.  The real India resides in villages.  This shall be a boom for rural people and India.

This is wonderful news as it would greatly aid people who are visually impaired and allows them to hear content .

Can be used for targeted campaigns for specific products and can be a voice of  a particular brand.

No doubt about this as the majority of Indians living in rural areas are still illiterate despite the best driving measures taken by the Govt and NGOs.

The best of technology is that this is illiterate friendly.

By word illiteracy means they can't write/read but they have great sense or IQ so  this combination of technology and their IQ will lift them up.

Tech friendliness will also pump them to go for higher education as they will unravel the wonders of education.

After all  technology innovation is all about to serve the society
