In change management, the change agent has will produce three outcomes [though there will be other hindrances to many for one article]:

They gain support and are openly supported

There are those that do not totally agree but, opposition is not kept quiet and support is shown

There are those that find another means of making a living.

Steven I have read the 7 Habits of highly effective people, it helped me a lot for my career. I don't say it is the only solution but it will help in the learning process too. It will help you to solve or handle problem to some extent.
